In the 'Insurance' division that manages Life insurance products and processes (savings and investments for self-employed individuals and private customers) from product development and its launch to its management, the 'Marketing and Market Communication' department defines the strategy that will attract and retain customers to increase sales of our products and services.
This team is made up of about ten colleagues who are just waiting for you!
Your responsibilities
As a Life Insurance Product Manager, you ensure the development, adjustment, positioning, and monitoring of our life insurance products and services (for private individuals and the self-employed) while considering the needs of the client, market trends, and competition. In doing so, you play a crucial role in defining and implementing the product strategy.
So you are responsible, among other things, for:
- Following market trends and developments, focusing on the needs of clients and brokers as well as on the products and services offered by competitors (branches 21, 23, 26). In doing so, you will detect opportunities for product development or adjustment and identify marketing actions;
- Ensuring regulatory monitoring with the legal team to assess the impacts on products and services and adjust them as necessary;
- Drafting, in consultation with the relevant departments, the documents for products and contracts (general and particular terms and conditions, financial information sheet, technical sheet, insurance proposal, etc.) and ensure their regular update;
- Collaborating with the Marketing and Sales departments to develop marketing campaigns, create the necessary materials for Sales (including training materials for brokers) and participate in the commercial launch of new products and services.
- (Pro-)actively informing colleagues, especially those from the Sales and Production departments, about the products and their development.
Your profile
- You have at least a Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Insurance.
- You can demonstrate initial experience of 3 years in a similar role in the insurance sector and more specifically in Life products.
- You have a solid foundation in Life Insurance (branches 21 and 23 and their general terms and conditions) and are familiar with the legislation on and taxation of insurance.
- You have experience in project management.
- You are a French or Dutch speaker with a good command of the other national language and you can work in English; you can also easily express your opinion and make recommendations both orally and in writing.
- You have an analytical mind.
- You are flexible and open to change and can work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- You are independent and take initiative.
- You certainly have team spirit.
