In our Risk Management department with the mission of guiding and supporting Athora Belgium risk takers and of managing the risks arising out of Athora Belgium business activities while ensuring proper mitigation/remediation are identified and timely activated.

Your responsibilities
As ERM Expert, your responsibilities will include:
- Designing and maintaining risk management frameworks and related policies
- Ensuring that risks are assessed qualitatively and quantitatively
- Ensuring that mitigation/remediation actions are identified and timely executed
- Setting risk aggregation methodologies for each risk factors
- Ensuring clear systems of governance are in place to be able to identify, monitor, report and manage Athora Belgium aggregated risks
- Contributing to set and cascade down the risk appetite in the limits system
- Monitoring/reporting on key risk indicators to assess quantitative risk levels
- Contributing to qualitative risk assessment and monitoring the progress of remedial actions
- Preparing and voicing the Risk Management Function views and opinions (specific projects, regulatory requests, etc.)
- Coordinating to the ORSA process and report.
Your profile
- You have a university degree in actuarial science, finance or economy
- You have at least 3 years of experience in risk management in a life insurance company.
- You have an excellent knowledge of French and/or Dutch and are fluent in English.
- You have a strong understanding of the Solvency II framework.
- You are rigorous, organised and can manage your priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- You are able to work and learn quickly and at a sustained pace in a dynamic environment.
- You can communicate with all kinds of interlocutors and are able to present results to senior management effectively and clearly.
- You have an analytical mind and are solutions- and results-oriented
