As part of the CINSO department, which manages life insurance products and processes from product development and sales until to monitoring, our Business Change & Monitoring department is looking for a Business Analyst Life Insurance.
The role of this department is to coordinate business projects that have an IT impact and are linked to legal changes, new insurance solutions or operational improvements.
The team consists of 10 colleagues who are waiting just for you!
Your responsibilities
As a Business Analyst Life Insurance, you will manage changes to projects optimising life insurance product management processes, launching new products or services, or developing them in line with the legal and regulatory framework.
You will be responsible for :
· Helping the business to define its needs, define the business requirements and formalise them in the standard documents defined.
· Defining business cases for projects and proposed solutions
· Analysing existing systems and assessing the impact on processes
· Collaborating effectively with the many parties involved (IT, Operations, Business, Distribution, etc.) and developing a relationship of trust with your internal customers and suppliers
· Monitoring the project, coordinating the various parties involved, communicating regularly on the progress of the project and ensuring that the developments meet the needs identified
· Preparing and running the various UAT tests (processes and calculations) to ensure the quality and reliability of the developments
· Following up identified bugs until they are completely resolved.
· Documenting changes clearly and exhaustively
· Supporting the change by drafting communication and training material and give training to end users
· Monitoring the project until management is taken over by the IT teams
· Maintaining, supporting and testing recurring operational processes that require analysis
· Providing support in the event of production problems requiring business analysis
Your profile
· You will have at least a bachelor's degree, preferably in mathematics, IT or economics, or equivalent experience.
· You will have at least 5 years' experience in a similar role, ideally in the life insurance or banking investment products sector.
· Knowledge of traditional life and/or group life products is a plus.
· You are a French or Dutch speaker with a good command of the other national language and you can work in English.
· You are proficient in MS Office and have knowledge of BPMN. You also have experience of writing business requirements.
· You can communicate easily with all types of people, both orally and in writing, and you have experience of change management.
· You are analytical
