Within our department IT with the mission of strengthen the current team in the group life insurance IT activities, we are looking for an Analyst/Developer to analyse and develop the solutions needed to maintain the tool.

Your responsibilities
As IT analyst-developer, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing the day-to-day activities of the group life back-end application on the mainframe, taking part in the analysis, development and testing phases
- Delivering projects on time.
- Monitor incidents on a daily basis (the volume is low)
- Contribute to the generation of technical and functional documentation by analysing the code and the behaviour of the application.
- Implement simple, structured and effective solutions.
Your profile
- You have a bachelor's degree in IT development or equivalent experience.
- You have at least 3 years' experience in life insurance IT solutions.
- You have an excellent knowledge of French or Dutch with a good command of the other national language and can work easily in English.
- You have a good knowledge of COBOL / DB2; and knowledge of mainframe and/or group life insurance is a plus.
- You have a good command of Excel, Word and Powerpoint.
- You are rigorous, organised, able to manage your priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- You are able to work and learn quickly and at a fast pace in a dynamic environment.
- You have an analytical mind and are solution- and results-oriented.
- You can communicate with all types of people and are able to present results effectively and clearly to senior management.
- You enjoy taking on challenges.
- You are independent and take the initiative.
- You dare to think outside the box and make suggestions.
- You are dynamic and open-minded..
